Shipping Questions

What are the shipping options?

At Snowfall Press, we give customers full control over the shipping process. After the shipping destination information is fully entered online, shipping options and their prices for the order will appear onscreen. The customer can then choose the shipping option they prefer.

The following shipping options are offered for orders:

USPS Priority Mail

USPS Priority Flat-Rate

USPS Media Mail (domestic only)

USPS Parcel

USPS First Class

UPS Next Day (Next Day AM and Next Day Air Saver where available)

UPS Second Day (Second Day Air AM where available)

UPS 3-Day Air

UPS Ground

How long do shipments take?

We offer customers shipping options through UPS and the US Postal Service. Consumers can choose the shipping option they prefer given the price and time to ship. We encourage customers to educate themselves on how long it will take, using different shipping carriers and options, for their books to ship from our printing facilities in Phoenix, AZ and Grand Rapids, MI.  A rough estimate is that if the destination is from the Texas-North Dakota axis and west, it will ship from AZ.  Any destination east of this axis will ship from MI (LA,MS,and parts of AL are the exception as they ship from AZ).

Can I ship internationally?

Yes. Currently, we are only offer a USPS International Priority Flat-Rate option for international shipments.

What about Media Mail?

Media mail is offered on some domestic shipments. Although this is the cheapest shipping option, experience has shown that it is the most unreliable option to ship packages in terms of speed of delivery and damage to shipments.  Customers use Media Mail at their own risk.

Can I use my own shipping number for shipments from Snowfall Press?

Currently, we do not have this option.

I just placed an order for 30 copies of my book, Escaping the Stress Trap. They need to reach Maryland by Wednesday, January 22. It just occurred to me that I may have needed to choose a different mailing option. Can you please help me on this? Thank you.
